Macmillan Coffee Morning Raises £2000
This years Macmillan coffee morning was the best ever!! Tiny, the two Matthews, Liam and Jordan all had their legs waxed. Huw, Kate, Nick and Jayne donated 4 hours gardening to the highest bidder. The coffee shop girls cooked up some lovely cakes for which the proceeds were donated to the charity. Mark the boss, a proud Chelsea fan wore a Liverpool shirt for the day and the proudest Welsh member of staff, Jayne wore an England shirt for the day!!
In total we raised approximately £1800.00 throughout the day and the garden centre made a donation to round it off to £2000.
Many thanks to all the staff for their enthusiasm and our customers for their generosity. We would also like to thank Sheila Lewis from the Beauty Mill in Three Cocks who kindly donated her time and products to perform the leg waxing!!

Garden Centre Association Awards
The GCA awards were held at Raglan garden centre this year. We are proud to have won the award for Best Plant Area in the Wales and West group for the third year running. Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal
We are pleased to have raised a total of £97.58 for the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal 2011 which helps care for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses in their own home. Thanks to everyone who supported the appeal by purchasing a daffodil.

Armed Forces Day Raises £60 for the Royal British Legion
For the second year running we have been keen to show our support for the armed forces and have raised a total of £60.47 for such a great charity. Thank you to all those customers that donated some of thier loose change, our armed forces are working so hard at the moment and it's nice to show them that we all appreciate what they are doing for our country.

Christmas Opening Raises £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support
The preview evening and subsequent opening weekend was a great success and was enjoyed by staff and customers alike. We are so pleased that we managed to raise £1000 through a combination of charity raffles, a donation by the garden centre and also a valued donation of a days wages by Jayne. A cheque was presented to Macmillan Cancer Support who would like to thank everyone for their kind generosity
